Key Functions and Features:
1. Microprocessor control, LCD, English menu, real-time display of test data (e.g., voltage, current, discharge initiation time and length, capacity, lower limit of voltage protection) and instant information of running state. |
2. Keypad operation It allows to set discharging parameters and input operation commands through the keypad or the host computer. |
3. Automatic protection Once the battery discharging time or discharge capacity is set, the discharging process will stop automatically and give an alarm when the batteries voltage is lower than the preset protective voltage or any abnormal load connection is detected; at the same time, the shutdown conditions will be logged automatically. |
4. Power-down feature In case of unexpected power failure, the discharge process will be automatically suspended harmlessly to the discharger until the power is resumed; in the meantime, the preset discharge parameters and discharge data will be saved automatically. |
5. Data collection To facilitate the analysis of batteries performance, the discharging data will be collected and saved at a high frequency in the first two minutes after the discharging process starts, and then the frequency goes down to once a minute. |
6. Data processing The test data is allowed to upload to the host computer via an RS-232 port or an USB port for the attached dedicated software to process and generate various graphs, bar charts or reports reflecting the battery performance, which may be magnified, retrieved or printed out. |
7. Correction feature The indicated voltage and/or current values may be corrected, whether prior to discharging or in the discharging process. |
8. Data storage It supports to automatically store the discharging data of eight successive cycles without missing datum at power outage, and the discharging time for each cycle is not more than 15 hours. |
9. Power consumption component A new type of PTC is adopted with such features as safety, no pollution, compactness, light weight and good heat radiation. |
10. Voltage recognition The discharger is able to recognize the voltages and switch automatically. |
